This design, inspired by the style of the stained-glass windows in a large congregation’s small chapel, uses abstract imagery to depict the waters of baptism, through which we are claimed as God’s children. It was executed using artist-dyed fabrics, then embellished with paint and appliqued trim. It was designed for year-round use in this sacred space.
